Where does it connect on the inside if at all?? What size wire?? Thanks as always!!

The shielding uses a different Capacitor design then the voltage regulator , bottom pic. VR and top pic. shielding and the inside wire goes to the coil , same size wire as the out side wire

Thanks Roy! What a resourse. Mine has the VR there. Does it make a functional difference which one is used? Also, do these things ever wear out? I'm assuming the wire connects to the negitve side of the coil? Its amazing we cant find this info easily. I do appreciate your knowledge!!- Top

It dont make a difference which one you use , just the design of it. Yes they act some what like a fuse and can short out , the wire inside is thin. No the XThanks Roy! What a resourse.
