    Temp Guage repair 55

    I broke the tube that connects the guage and sending unit on a 55. I have a repair offer but was courious if there is any way of buying the tube and repairng it myself. What is in the tube? it sure stinks.

      My 55 gauge was Inop. (gas discharged ) do to sitting around for 50 years........I sent it to Mary Jo (Parts Queen) who had it rebuilt for a reasonable fee. I don't remember the price but it wasn't bad. Bob
