Looking for the $3 part

Any one know a vender thet sells the correct air cleaner wingnut for a'57?
Its a Base single carb.

I've tried all the popular ones (CC , Keen , Cvett Ameri ,Paragon) .
Insted of stamped /chromed, they have forged /chromed as correct.

The one I have is correct but not chromed.

Tried the hardware store , close but not chrome.

Any ideas ?

Dana, if the wing you have is correct and passes Judging - recommend you get it chromed. Have looked at alot of stamped wing nuts and have yet to find any current manufactured stamped wing nut that's correct. If you find one, let us know. Gary....

The one I have looks idenacal to the photo in the #5 JM.
It has passed several times ,condition dinged for not looking chrome.
Any chrome company recomadations ?

Wing nut was with the car when purchaced in '02.
Owner of 36 years said it is orgional to the car, Jim Moran.
I'll try a mototcycle chrome shop.
