I just was zapping the TV channels and spotted the 1967 movie Clambcake starring Elvis...did he drive the Sting Racer in RED???

Is that the real thing??

Hi Michael,
Yes you saw right.
Bill Mitchell had detuned the Stingray, added a full windshield and passenger's seat, and was driving and displaying it.
I remember as kids talking about the car and Shelley Fabares (so we weren't too young) even though we weren't Elvis fans.
I think the car started out red, went to silver, back to red for the movie and then to silver again.
