    1953-55 ignition coil

How rare is a 1115394 embossed "394" 6 volt ignition coil to find and what would one look to pay for it? thanks

Wow 50 bucks? I really shopped and had to spend almost $200 and I really looked.

Bob Connor made them years ago for $60.00 plus other parts , Ivan made 55 air cleaners , I did make bubble top and still have a few 55 shielding . The point I'm making is that us older Corvette people are getting older and have stopped making early parts and when we're gone so are the parts .People now trying to locate a Corvette should invest in parts before there all gone. As to where to locate one good luck,

              Roy,

              First of all, "THANK YOU!"

              Thank you for the info.

I bought some pieces of your sheilding, but haven't a complete set.

I have the Dist. shielding w/ an un chromed attaching ring. Missing the little knob on the bail. ( wasn't with it)

I have the chrome condenser and I think part of the coil shield.

I just looked at my notes and it said coil cap. No bail or knob. I think that was all of the pieces you had at the time.

I still need the other parts to complete the set.

Looks like I have $ invested.

I still want to complete the set one way or another.

Give me youre ideas. I would appreaciate them.

              Karl.

I certainally hope you get the judging for the "55" straightened away. (bout time)

I see you have an air cleaner on eBay.

My air cleaner doesn't have the fins inside.

I'll try to get a picture to you.

Hope you are having a great memorial weekend!

ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW OF AN #086 COIL OR COIL CAN FOR SALE ????? ("55" VETTE V-8 ONLY)
