Does any one know what on the heads of the bolts for the rear tansmission bracket to tailhousing 3/8 coarse . Trans bracket to crossmember mount with rubber bushings.Whats on the head and fine or coase .I believe 7/16. What is in the heads of the 5/16 x4 bolts that hold the tranmission mount to the crossmeber fine or coarse . What is on the heads of the crossmeber to frame 3/8 x 4.

i think 7/16 course for the rubber mount and the cross member 3/8 course. The rubber mounts on mine had to have the rubber reamed than the larger bolts fitted. I believe the metal bushing is the correct diameter, at least this is what i found with mine. By the way thanks for the great job on the shocks.- Top

I believe that what you are going to come to is a non-answer, in that there was a "running change" on the rear mount holes, from 3/8" to 7/16", and I have not seen even an attempt to determine when it occurred - except that every T10 I have seen in a '58 that seemed to have correct build dates for the car was a 7/16" hole.- Top
