Grommet L Bracket on Figure 8 Coil Bracket
Does anyone know of a source for only the 1957 grommet "L" bracket on the Figure 8 Coil Bracket? The sources I have checked sell only the complete repro. unit.

Hi, that "L" bracket is welded on if you are talking about a 2x4 setup, mine is an original, I have a replacment GM over the counter one, it too is welded(tacked) onto bracket. Might be a little tuff to find one seperate from the main "fig 8" bracket, hope this info. helps, maby someone can chime in....... -

Thanks Adam. I am going to have to do some more investigating. My December build car "Figure 8" bolts to the "L" and has a nut tacked to the "Figure 8". I bought my '57 in '64 and am the 4th owner. I have spoken to the 2nd and 3rd owners, back to 1961 ownership, and neither of them replaced the bracket.
The mystery intensifies. Thanks for the info.
