    Exhaust Manifolds

Are there any exhaust manifolds or heat risers available that are correct for judging for a 327 300hp engine. If so where can I find them?

If you're talking about absolutely 100% correct, the only way you're going to achieve that with the manifolds is to find some very old NOS pieces OR obtain good used original pieces. Good used pieces are out there. However, you're unlikely to find any that will score full points on condition. Very old NOS pieces are going to be virtually impossible to find.

As far as the heat riser goes, a used piece is not going to be much of an option from a functional standpoint. An old NOS piece is going to be difficult, but not impossible, to find.

Interior rear view mirror date code

I have a 1964 convertible with an interior rear view mirror labeled 6 DMI 3. Is this the correct date code for a Nov 63 build date? Thanks!!

            Vince -

That mirror date is June, 1963; not "typical", but it fits in the six-month "window" for full credit.

Thank's for the reply John. What would be more typical for this Nov 21 63
build date. Im am looking to have the mirror re chromed and have the dated glass replaced and I want it to be correct.

A month or two prior would be more "typical".

Interesting. I have a 64 with a 30 Oct 63 build date. I have had the car for well over 30 years. The interior rear view mirror is also dated 6 DMI 3. Maybe they found a bunch of leftover June mirrors and unloaded them on our cars!
