If you're referring to the 4 alphanumeric code stamping the numbers/letter are on the order of 0.094 +/- 0.001.
Or are you referring to the A and B on the shank of the key?

Keith, See Peter Lindahl aka "The key guy" for a correct key that has the proper size numbers and font.
I had keys made for my 63 three times. All the keys worked but only one set was correct and that was Peters. JD- Top

I have found that the actual stamping size of a 1/16" number/letter is the size of the original. When stamped, the figure is slightly larger than the 1/16" specified on the stamp set. This is not only for the cheap sets but for good quality sets. There is a lot of variation on the stamped size and horizontal location on cheap sets (as was on many keys from Briggs & Stratton as well as variation of fonts not only on different keys but on the same key).
