    1970 Front Grills

    Hi Guys,
I'm looking for a set of original 1970 front grills right & Left.
If anyone has any leads on where I can get a set of these please let me know.

    Thanks for your help.

    Re: 1970 Front Grills

Have you searched the for sale section of the NCRS Driveline? The one year only 1970 grilles are not plentiful because of the difference between the 70 and the 71-72 grilles.

You might try some of the Corvette parts recyclers. There are several guys who advertise int he Driveline who have parts from junked Corvettes. One such is America's Finest Corvettes and another is JT Piper.

Mark, they show up on ebay pretty often. I've bought two pair there. But be prepared: a perfect single grill can bring $500 or more.

Also, Richard Fortier, who advertises in the Driveline, can "convert" 71-72 grills into 70 grills by welding in studs and then rechroming the grill. You may wanna call him for an estimate.

Nope, one's on my car and the extra pair is to insulate me from the insane future price spirals if I need another!

Pat, I did the same thing.....got an extra front grille set besides those on my 1970 Corvette. Now if only I can find one side of 1st Design exhaust tips as I have two of the same side or I'm going to have to buy a set from Richard Fortier.

Scott, I remembered you posting about having one tip, and several months ago there was one that looked real on ebay. I decided not to bid because I figured I'd never find a matching one.

But I really thought about contacting you to see if it would match yours, but it simply slipped my mind. I think it sold for a little over $200. Sorry!
