    Wayne - Looks like an excellent example of the RC-26 radiator pressure cap design that I would expect to be found on 1963-1965 Corvettes w/ C60 with the AC (not in a circle) stamped above the 15# RC-26 which is stamped near the center of the cap (similar to the design of the 307 radiator pressure caps used on 1960-1965 Corvettes with the AC (not in a circle) and the 307 13# stamped below the AC near the center of the cap) which differs from the design used on the 1966 and newer RC-26s that are stamped with the 15# RC-26 on one of the ears and the AC in a circle stamped near the center of the cap. Scott- I located it. It was a 1966 or newer version of the RC-26. It had the AC stamped in a circle and the 15# RC-26 stamped on one of the ears. Pete

              Ray - Sorry. That long sentence and the fact that you haven't had the spring thaw makes it tuff on you folks up there in Cheesehead Land. I'll talk with you at Bloomington. It will be warmer then (probably hotter than "H"). Pete

                  No, Pete, but I'm thinking I should. I'm no Joe Lucia by any stretch of the imagination but I try to secure as many hard to find back-up parts for my '70 as I can. When I see items like used RC-15 and RC-26 caps hit prices like that I get a bit worried. In 2003 I sustained a garage fire that destroyed a 1970 Corvette convertible and many rare spare parts. I had to start all over again.

                    Hey Peter;

                    Do you guys from new Mexico have to use your passports to visit the United States?

                    Will you be at the Heartland Regional?

                    See Ya.

                      Ray,

                      Only when they visit Arizona.

                        Ray - Only when we depart from Roswell. Sorry won't be at the Heartland Regional. I couldn't get my passport processed in time to visit a foreign destination. Some restriction about some HOG quarantine. Too many motorcycles or something???? Pete

                          Just read this post for the first time, & immediately went to the garage to get my RC-26 cap out of my 64 air roadster glove box. I looked for one of these for years & finally found one quite a while back. From the description in this post, it appears that I have an RC-26 cap that is not correct for my 64, but would be correct for a 66 & newer?? Mine has the AC in the double circle left side of cap & the 15# RC-26 on the right hand large tab. I just got my 64 & 66, 5th edition Judging Guide & don't see the RC-26 cap described in that much detail. Although, the 307 cap is mentioned in more detail. Anyway, thank for the new information. At least new to me!
