    '67 Trim Tag ECL question...

If I have standard black trim with no ECL code on the trim tag, is there any problem with installing a '67 black vinyl hard top on my car? Thanks, PT

Nope, no problem. The "STD" trim code pretty much leaves the door wide open for configuration.

I thought I told you that in Gettysburg. BTW I did get a centerforce clutch for my Chevelle and I love it

Yes you did, I just wanted to confirm here that there was no problem with adding the hard top, since I'm going to have to drill some holes. PT

Your car will look great with a black vinyl hardtop on.

              Pat,
You may have to adjust your side windows to seal to the hardtop, and then adjust your soft top to seal to the side windows.

Don, thanks for the heads up. I'm going to do a dry run of setting the hardtop on the car and see how everything looks before I drill any holes.

Just for the record, I have installed hardtop's on my previously owned '63 and '57 with no fit issues at all. Hope this one will be the same. PT

funny, isn't it. My '67 had it's softop frame removed, and a hardtop installed during it's drag racing career in the late 1960s.

I had to go back to the soft top, and now have holes to deal with.
