Convertible top hard to put up, any sugestions

It is hard to put the soft top up by my self is there any way to make it easy. With 2 people it is not to bad. Any helpful ideas. thanks

When ever the car is not being used always store it with the top in the up position. This will allow the material to streach. If you leave a top in the closed position for a long time I would suggest to put in in the up position without latching any points let it streach for a while (preferably in the sun) then latch.

When you latch catch the front header clamps then press the deck lid pins into the catches.

When the top is "relaxed" and can be latched fairly easily. I would watch how much it pulls the windshield post back when you latch it. If it is excessive the fabric was put on the frame too tight.

EDIT: If the frame is hard to move into position, lube all joints with a penetrant/lube. That should be a one man operation. And always grab the header by the center to lift the frame out of the well.
