    '66 Interior Mirror

I got my interior mirror ( standard mirror) apart by following the suggestion of soaking in lacquer thinner. It came apart very nicely. I tightened everything up. Now I want to put it back together. What is the suggestion as to what type of glue for re-installation of the mirror??
Do I need to re-install the piece of paper that was inside??
    Thank You

Don when I restored my interior mirror I used a fast cure auto glass urethane. It's made by 3M and the part number is 08690. All you need is a dab on each end and one dab in the middle. When you place the mirror in the frame, just press down lightly and the urethane should spread out evenly. I did not use any paper and have had zero problems.
