    73 AIR Pump

    I removed the AIR pump from the car for a spring cleaning, I also removed the cast backing plate to take a look inside. It looks as if the bearings may need a little cleaning and grease as well. Any ideas on how I should proceed with this project. Thanks to All!

      Back in the day those bearings took special grease. Contact Dennis Kazmierzak through the members list on the radio button on the narrow blue bar above the Technical Discussion disclaimer. Dennis used to work for the bearing supplier, and may be able to properly advise you.
