C1 speedo/tach cable lube

Hi fellow members; I have both my speedo and tach cable out of my 56 at present. Can anyone recommend a good cable lube product to apply to them before they go back in ? Has anyone tried a graphite spray lubricant ? Thanks for the help, Jim

Part house should have speed cable lube ,it's a light milky grease . Hope you have the original cables as pic. Having dark then light color cable rappings. The repro's dont.

Thanks for your reply Roy and the pic of an original speedo cable. I believe that my tach cable is an original, it does have the light and dark colors as you mention and the small mounting callar has AC speedometer cast on it and the large callor has AC spark plug Div cast into it. I know my speedo cable is a repro. I am not familiar with a supplier called Part House. I will do a search for them to see if I can locate a source close to my home in the Niagara Falls NY/ Canada area. Thanks again for you help, best regards , Jim
