    '58 Firewall Plate?

On the engine side of the firewall, is there a small plate that covers the opening for the fuse box and wire bundle that goes to the headlights, horns, etc.? I have an opening that is about two inches by three inches. It's a smooth configured cut and doesn't look like something Bubba did.
If there is a plate, where can I locate one.

    Thanks,

    David

      David:
I have restored (3) 58 Corvettes and several 59-60s and have never seen a removable cover in this area. The wiring harness goes through a hole in the far left upper firewall. The hole is about 1 3/4 in. and has a grommet to seal.

      Good luck

Thanks, Ron. That's what I thought. The larger opening that is there now looks like factory, not Bubba.
