You put fresh brake fluid in the bottle and pump it up to about 10 psi, walk around the car once and bleed each caliper, and you're done; they also have handy vented bleeder bottles with tethers on them.
When done, you bleed off the air pressure in the bottle at the cap, put a rag under the master cylinder, and remove the adapter. If I used it more often, I'd add 1/2"-long extensions to the bottom of the adapter at each of the two fluid inlet holes, and put a vacuum on the fluid hose to withdraw the excess fluid before removing the adapter.
