1967 Tri-Power Chassis Shots

Hi,

I'm new to the NCRS TDB and I am "in the hunt" for an unrestored 1967 L71 tri-power car. About 20 years ago, my father and I went through some NCRS "light" preparation with a 1965 L79 small block. Since then I've focused on other types of cars, but I am excited to be back with mid-year Vettes.

I found a white/green candidate car at a large national dealer and a few chassis shots were sent to me. I'm attaching them here for your review; they seem to have a descent amount of original factory markings and appear consistent with the age of the car to me. Please let me know what you think - of course, I'm not expecting a "pre-purchase inspection" based on a few photos, but any opinion would be valued.

I have other pics of springs, calipers, and other such underpinnings if anyone is interested.

No, this is an unrestored 1967 L71 427/435 white/green/white hardtop car. Bloomington Gold 1996 and Regional Top Flight 1997 Triple Crown 2007.

David, I watched that car being judged for it's Triple-Crown in Chicago.
Looked like an extremely nice, original car.

Looks like both the front brakes hoses are the later DOT type and the fuel pump were changed at some point

Thanks for pointing out the DOT brake lines! - I overlooked those completely. Here are a few more detail shots, including some chassis stencils, shocks and springs, and part of the off-road exhaust system.

Again, thank you so much for your feedback. To me, determining the authenticity of a Survivor car is a forensic process, and these shots are pieces of the story.

The Arvin code on the muffler decodes as having been made on the 345th day of 1971, so it's a service replacement pipe and muffler assembly.
