    67 accelerator pedal

Need a picture of an original 67 gas pedal. Reproductions have the two outside grooves terminated at an angle instead of square cornered. Per the JM.

William -- these are off my two '65s, and I doubt the design would change for the next two model years. Have no idea if they've been replaced (I've owned the cars for 22 and 30 years). Would welcome comments as to their originality -- excuse the dirt in the grooves .

Wayne...Comparing them to my reproduction they are original. The 2 outside lines at the top are at an angle on a reproduction and yours are square. Thanks for the pics...Bill

Is it me? In Wayne's gas pedal photo's one pedal has wider grooves than the other. Anyone with a original gas pedal which grooves and year car do you have?

Both will pass judging IMO, and to answer your question about the groove thickness - generally the narrower groove is seen more prevalently on original unrestored cars. Both are nice pedals...ARA

              Bill ,
You might try Corvette Central for the pedal. I don't know how long ago I ordered it , but as you can see from the pictures of the original and the repro side by side , the repro looks good to me , and squared off at the top .

I had to go to Long Island Corvettes to get a decent repro for my '63; the other vendors had some really nasty looking examples...

Better than what's out there BUT note the repop grooves are wider and the outer grooves go longer/further than the outer grooves on originals as seen in your wonderful pictures. Thanks for posting....ARA

Jim, that is probably the best repo gas pedal that I have seen.

Yet another original Notice on the short groves the ends get a tapered treatment. PS it's a 64
