Are you asking about the chassis, and the body pieces as well? There was a thread not too long ago about bracket finish for the body reinforcements etc. I think a search for "seat belt reinforcement" note the dbl quotes for the search strig, or "tank strap" or the like. I posted some photos of a 59 underbody so try a search of my name in it and it may be there.
I just restored a 59 chassis. A very original car with 51 years of grease and dirt. A few before and after below....The black is less glossy than the photos, but not perfect. I used Dupont Chassis black paint. $34 a gallon. Car will not be judged but I tried to stay somewhat close to what it should be.

Roger, there is a Chassis Restoration Guide by Joseph Tripoli. It has some black and white pictures and a description of the components and the bolts, including the finishes. It's not great but it's still helpful.
