Attempted to fine out how many 1966 corvette coupes, trophy blue, factory A/C, 327/300, manual transmission were produced by GM.

    Ron:

No definitive numbers for this from GM are available. The best you can do is apply "percentages" to the number of 1966 coupes for the various options you have. Your car is probably 1 of 100 or so similar cars.....just my guess....I didn't do the calculation for your case. You can do it yourself if you want this estimated number.

To give you a starting point, Noland's Vol 2 shows 1966 GM data at 399 coupes with base engine, C60 and manual trans (incl. both 3 and 4 speeds). And since Trophy blue was a rare (and nice, IMO) color, with 5.3% of total production ordered with this paint, you can form some sort of probability for a resulting number that are the same as the car you mention.

        Wayne:

Excellent point. I didn't think about the ECL codes and production numbers from Noland's C2 Book.....although I have used them in the past. This gives a much better starting number for Ron to use. Thanks for the refresher.

All of them. Ford and Chrysler didn't dare try.
