I just bought a gallon of paint based on Chromabase 58245K Arctic blue. This looks a little to grey and not enough blue. Does anyone have a "Better Looking" Arctic blue paint code?

Re: Arctic blue paint code
David, we've seen several Artic Blue cars that appeared to have BC/CC paint and they were all not blue enough. Original swatches to have the paint store try to match to is the best approach. Gary....NCRS Texas Chapter

Re: Arctic blue paint code
Todays painted blue, coppers and any metallic color for C1's , and line them all up and you see different tint or shade of color on each Corvette.. Even using a paint store color matching device.
The number one problem is in using the correct (FLAKE) material which changes the color tint. You need to find a 90 year old painter that knows that and knows how to use todays paints. I was lucky and found one before I had my copper 55 done.- Top

Re: Arctic blue paint code
Saw a newer honda? the other day and was struck as to how much it reminded me of the original color that I remember from back in the day.
I'm walking around with a hunk of a honduras maroon panel comparing it to new cars to find a current paint formula.
Check out the new blue color.- Top
