Today was the big event; I sent my 63 Coup body to be painted. This is a big deal for me. Tomorrow I will pick up 3 test panels painted with 3 different manufacturers saddle tan paint for a comparison. I was hoping to go to Gettysburg to watch the judging on Friday. However it looks like rain and there may not be any Saddle tan Coups there anyway. Has any one had good results with the saddle exterior or interior paints? The Interior seams to be more of a problem. I have seen Top Flight cars where the interior paints do not appear even close to my original shades. I have two distinct shades one for the halo, lower windshield trim and the inner kick panels and different shade for the rest of the window trim and upper door. I hope to work this out with my painter.

Re: 63 coup saddle tan
I'm looking at a yellow sheet of paper (TSB?) that calls out the following for interior Saddle Tan: Ditzler DL22298, RM 62C82 & DuPont 95355 for the interior but TWO BUTS:
1> The RM and Dupont colors above are HIGH GLOSS AND YOU MUST ADD FLATTENER TO THEM. The Ditzler formula is flattened.
2> The same chart calls out Ditzler DL22299 as A NON-METALLIC USED ONLY ON THE HALO PANEL AND THE REAR WINDOW GARNISH.- Top
