Kick Panel Screws - Best Reproductions?

Who makes the best reproductions for kick panel screws on a mid year?

Mine have been replaced at some point and do not look close, although I am pretty sure they are supposed to be reproductions of the original.

    Thanks.

    Larry,
Long Island Corvette Supply is a great source for good Mid Year Corvette Restoration Parts.
    Hope this helps.

Re: Kick Panel Screws - Best Reproductions?

I have used Long Island Corvette with some success for some parts.

I have found with just about everyone I have tried some parts are nice and look very close to correct, some do not look very close to original and some are just about junk.

Can anyone vouch for the kick panel screws that LIC or anyone else provides as reproductions? I want as close to original as is available, but prefer not to pay $50-80 for originals. If there are no good repops I will have to reconsider.

Larry, can you post what you got from LIC, I do not believe what I got from the P was very close either...

No easy "Reproduction" way out here.
Production kick panels had three different head styles. (see Archives)
Owners of several Judged cars ordered kick panel screw sets and received 16 screws all alike. The four others included were for the dash/radio side panels, which had a fourth uniquely configured head style.
The closest that one owner came was to order the set from several suppliers, then managed to put a fairly acceptable set together.
The latest '66 JG has pix of those four different screw head styles.
          Good Luck and HaND
