If the car is an original sidepipe car, it will tell the judges all they need to know.

This is an interesting subject, as I am just starting the flight judging of my '67 in a few weeks at a chapter judging. But I am wondering, will I have to bring a copy of my tank sticker to prove the side exhaust was an original option on my car and not added later?

You could bring a copy of the sticker for show and tell. As a judge, I'd like to see that historical piece of paper. It is just my personal interest though. No additional points or value would be given the car during the judging process. I just like seeing neat old stuff.

OK, I will. Actually I have a tri-fold display board of copies my car's docs, like the window sticker, pre-delivery inspection sheet, POP, and tank sticker. At car shows people seem to be fascinated by this old stuff, as much as Vette experts.
