Here it is, all original metal, non-1967 1967 corvette, with a 4 speed 5 speed manual powerglide, 6 cylinder V-8L, fuel injected-non fuel injected, chrome-non-chrome wheels, cloth upholstery, with either 8011 or 6027 miles, wavy seam seats, air conditioned-non-air conditioned and nicely detailed. The best detail is the air cleaner decal.
This must be that corvette made of metal I've always heard about.

Run Forrest, Run! If it has a '67 title, someone is in trouble. It has all the appearances of being a 1964, hood, hubcaps, door panels, front side fenders, non '67 rear panel, no BU lamps, instruments, just to name a few itemsLast edited by Dick W.; April 28, 2010, 01:26 PM.Dick Whittington- Top

Still laughing...
Some of my favorites include the attention to detail to the point of installing the original aftermarket Edelbrock valve covers upside-down, and as someone already mentioned, the factory air cleaner sticker also upside-down on on aftermarket lid.
I bet those aluminum bolt-on wheels WOULD look nice...if they were actually visible.
Marina blue huh? I think somebody got the can of Lynndale blue by mistake.
Rare VIN number too....00000000000!!!!...wow!!!!- Top

gotta love the rare Bright Blue interior as well. Looks like they have boilerplate ad text that runs on any car they offer, and just change photos and start price for the specific car. Don't worry about the ad text, if you like that car, hustle right over and scoop it up, before someone else beats you to the punch. You snooze, you lose on this creampuff.
I just noticed the doubled-up alternator hanger bracket. Is that required when you are punched out at over 500 hp ? Whanna keep from launching the alternator like a cannon shot right out of the hood ?Last edited by Don H.; April 28, 2010, 05:05 PM.- Top

Re: This must be that corvette made of metal I've always heard about.
I sure hope someone rescues that poor little roadster from the clutches of whatever shop full of Bubbas has it now! Just please do not post here later and tell us about the big box of original parts they had removed when they "purtied her up" to sell, including a complete fuel unit that "...we never could git to run right!". All kidding aside, alot of things on that car gives the inpression of a straight old car. Interior is faded, but not like some I've seen. Could someone more knowledgeable on C2 speak to the likely hood of the tach matching the fuelie emblems? That underhood just looks like a bunch of wrong parts installed wrong (I'm surprised the front tag wasn't upside down!) and I won't even comment on that blue light rear tag frame. Maybe a diamond in the rough... or maybe another lump of coal. Chip.- Top
