65 convertible vent window date codes

I just purchased new driver and passenger glass along with RH (passenger) vent glass. Once installed I noticed that the softray vent glass date stamp appeared backwards from outside of the car. A quick check confirmed all other glass reads normal ( left to right ) from outside of the car. Should all glass read from left to right (not backwards) from outside the vehicle and did someone ship me incorrect date stamped RH vent window???

The LOF markings on my 1965 door windows, vents and windshield glass are read from inside of the car.
