Car trailer tracking units?

Any experience or suggestions on car trailer tracking devices. I do have a Rodtracker (not installed yet) but am open to all ideas.

John, what a great expression he had. He was very beautiful. Sorry for his passing. We have lost five the past three years and another unfortunatley very close as he can't stand up on his own. They truly are best friends as I am certain he was yours.

Hopefully your birthday is/was one the BEST ever. I also am sorry to hear of your recent loss. those of us who are dog lovers know that our pets are every much a part of our families as anyone, and losing one can be very painful. It has been a little while since I lost my "friend" of 14 years, and though you never replace them, the best medicine for me was jumping back on the horse. The older we get the harder it is to deal with a new puppy, but once through the early stages, it is well worth the effort. Here is our families latest edition, his name is Phar Lap.

LOJACK is only effective in tracking stolen items.

The easiest way to go would be to add a line to your cellular account and purchase a phone that is GPS tracking capable. An example is Verizon's Field Force Manager that can be tracked on the internet or a Blackberry.

It can be hidden pretty easliy & powered by a car charger.
