    57 bubble top

I've been asked if I ever made a bubble top for a 57 ! Yes two , here is my friend in Ca. Who has one. But I don't do them any more.

Thanks for the pics Roy. I did not know you did them for cars other than '53-'55. How did you determine the shape on the compartment lid---your tops do not follow the shape of the rear bow of either the soft top or the hard top. Just curious.

      Thanks!

After I made a few tops my friend came over with his 57 and I thought what one would look like on his 57 .It fit perfect but for the windows , so I made another one set it on his 57 then cut the side area to fit his window and realized they would work and look good on 57 to 62 so I made and sold a few . The 62 lid having that line in the soft top lid I just modified it to fit too. As fare as the soft top or hard top the bubble top rear line sits different , farther back and gives more room .Every one that bought a bubble top loves it because their Corvette a tracks people like a bear to honey .

          Thanks

Can you kindly explain why "most went overseas"? I would assume most of the 1957 Corvette owners are in this country.

OK don't take this wrong but like many parts many people are cheap , but not over seas and their not NCRS funatic. Many are on museum Corvettes like most ones bought here in the USA. Some people don't take my 55 serous as a NCRS Corvette because of the bubble top and accessory wire wheels
