Re: Getting ready for a Regional
As I told Ed above: I have been asked for the original of the registration as proof of ownership at some of the meets I have been at over the last two years. I can't remember which, and it doesn't matter. In Illinois we are required to carry the registration card AND the proof of insurance card with us in the car. Since I am driving my Corvette I just keep that stuff in the car with me -- but if the car was on a trailer I might forget it. Don't do that.Terry- Top

Wet windshield with the engine running, so the system voltage will be as high as it gets. The wipers will sweep less with a dry windshield and with the engine off.Terry- Top

I have checked my wipers (multiple times) with the engine running, and they do not hit the side trim.Chris Enstrom

Re: Getting ready for a Regional
As you should be. Miss something on Flight...the fun continues. Miss something on PV...plan for next time. You seem to be well prepared for Flight at the Regional. See you there.
Best regards,- Top

Re: Getting ready for a Regional
Chris:
You have already received great advice. I can only add this suggestion. Ask a couple of your fellow chapter members who are experienced judges for your car's year to come to your garage and flight judge your car. Your participation in this exercise should be identical to an owner's participation at any NCRS meet. Another person may see something you have missed in your preparation. I'll bet you can host this little party for just a couple of cold ones afterwards.- Top
