70 L46 PCV Hose and Clamps

Is the PCV hose molded at one end, both, or neither. Seems like with a 736 PCV valve that the valve end should be molded.

How do you install the spring clamp on the carburetor end? I sure hope it isn't with the carb removed.

The PCV hose is molded on the valve end only.

The carb does not need to be removed to install the hose on the carb end. In fact, what you can try first is installing the clamp on the hose first. Then, push the hose with installed clamp onto the nipple. A little bit of "belt-ease" or other lubricant on the nipple will aid this. Usually, you will be able to push the hose on this way. However, you will not be able to pull the hose off so easily. For that, you will need to get a pair of duck-bill pliars on the hose clamp, expand it, and slide it back (or pull the hose off while it's expanded).
