    Hood Catch Plating

    Is the screw that the hood stop/bumper is mounted to plated or unplated? Did you guys remove it or leave it attached when you sent it to be replated.

      It is plated. I remove the screw for media blasting and cleaning prior to plating. I then plate them separately for corrosion protection. Otherwise the threaded portion of the screw in contact with the nut will be unprotected.
