60 Rear Leaf Springs

Someone recently told me that there is someone manufacturing and selling correct rear leaf springs with the grooves. Have been trying to locate this source to no avail. Does anyone have info regarding this vendor or a source of correct springs??

There was A rumor that Detroit Spring was making them I called .They are not making them

Mike Eaton must have had something planned in terms of getting grooved 5140 strip stock that didn't come to fruition, and he got ahead of himself with his P.R. The product announcement below appeared in the latest issue of Keith Martin's "Corvette Market" magazine; the photo is a midyear rear spring, but the text describes C1 rear springs.

Thanks for the info. I called Eaton this morning and they acted like I was crazy to even suggest they had the correct grooved springs for solid axles. But, they would sure be happy to re-arc mine for $450.
