Midyear power brake booster (7011) dates

Were all '65-'66 midyear power brake booster date stamped on the tab at 10 o'clock? The one on my car ('66) has 7011 on the firewall side of the 10 o'clock tab, and what appears to be a julian date format on the engine side (unreadable, but no doubt there are characters there).

However, I have a spare/second original booster that -- while it does have 7011 on this tab (firewall side) -- I cannot find any evidence of a julian date. (No, it's not one of those reproduction boosters). Loaned out my judging manuals, so have no reference from that standpoint. What would be the judging implications?

    Thanks in advance.

    Jeff ,

The latest "66 5th edition" JG doesn't say anything about the date on the booster. Neither does my 66 3rd edition . I can't imagine them judging for a date if they don't mention it ! If I am wrong , I hope a Judge will chime in .

In fact, the latest edition has changed it's wording from the #3rd edition , which also makes no mention of a date , by saying the 7011 is on the 10:00 tab. It has no mention of the 4:00 tab as did the 3rd edition. What do your 4 o'clock tabs look like ?

      Jim

The 4 o'clock tabs are blank on both my '66 and my undated spare booster. Thanks for the Judging Guide info; I've got to get one of those new '66 manuals.
