67 speed sensor

My 67 small block has a speed sensor that keeps going off randomly. I'll be parked or driving or whatever and it starts buzzing. I can fiddle with the knob on the speedo and get it to stop. I'm assuming the relay needs to be replaced but am looking for advice on anyone who might have had a similar problem. Is it the relay or could it be the knob on the speedo?? Any advice would be appreciated.

Had a similar '67 Speedminder problem.
Problem was gone after speedo head repair.

Had the head repaired in 2003. Repair shop now closed.

I would ask on this TDB for repair shop suggestions or use the search forums.
