midyear rear valance

I'm looking to remove the side-pipes from my 1967 and put the exhause back under the car. I need a rear valance with the holes. There is one for a 1966 on ebay. Will this fit my 1967 or is 1967 unique?

I believe that it would functionally be fine. The bare fiberglass on the inside may vary from '66 to '67 as far as how dark the gray color is - off hand I don't recall. I do know that it does vary from early C2's to the later.

I've never owned a 66 or 67, but couldn't your existing panel be adapted by simply cutting the necessary holes for the exhaust bezels??

Jerry, 63 should have different holes sizes for smaller bezels, might check 67 bezels for fit, think you need a later rear valance though.

66 and 67 rear valances are the same

The 66 and 67 use the same exhaust bezel. The 63 bezel is smaller (one year only) and I doubt it would fit the 66 67 without modification. The 63 fiberglass is white and the 66 67 is dark. I don't think the 64 or 65 would work either. I think you need to search for a 66 or 67 valance.

That's correct - '64-'65 used the same stamped bezels, attached with three screws and U-nuts in a radial pattern through the "barrel" section of the holes in the valance, and '66-'67 used die-cast bezels with integral studs that went through holes in the face surface of the valance with stamped nuts on the inside.

You need a '66-'67 valance, with the corresponding die-cast bezels and nuts.
