rear bumper spacing

I just had the bumpers off the car for paint work. Alignment was fairly easy. My question is, the front/back spacing on the bumper ends next to license plates.

I can get my finger thickness into the space between the body and the bumpers toward the bottom of the turned down part of the bumper. I don't recall it being that large before. Is there a spec somewhere that says how it is to be aligned? I have no further adjustment inward so I hope it's not an issue.

Sounds good to me. Although that specific location isn't shown, the other three locations all show 1/2" clearance to the body in the Assembly Manual.

Thanks! Seems a bit too far out to me, but I can't remember if it was closer. Case of too much worrying about stuff I guess.
