Tom,
Have you looked at your trim tag located just under the glove box.....top left corner of tag. What letter and number(s) appear?- Top

Re: Cars birthday? 1965
www.c2registry.org estimates this VIN's birthday at April 17,1965.
As Michael suggests, the top left of you trim tag will give you a date which is the body assembly date, i.e. above where it says 'STYLE'. The birthday is typically the next day or so after the body was assembled depending on St. Louis vs AO Smith body which can be determined by trim tag too. St. Louis body numbers start with S as seen to the left of 'BODY'.- Top

Re: Cars birthday? 1965
Tom,
What Jack allows is true, however should your car be A.O. Smith built, VIN assignment # will be as many as 7-14 days after the body build date. This is due in part to transportation time form Michigan to St.Louis when body was mated to frame. It was at this time VIN was then assigned.
Of course I stand to be corrected if not totally factual......but believe this to be the case.

The "Birthday Book" says April 19th; that's an approximation - probably good within a day or so either way. You have an A.O. Smith body - the date code at the upper left of the trim tag is the day the body was built at A.O. Smith-Ionia, Michigan.- Top

Re: Cars birthday? 1965
So we can give my car a birthday of April 19th 1965. It is an A.O. Smith body and The engine is a Flint engine built in March being a code F0320 I geuss means March 20th. That would be almost a month in adavnce of the car build date. I don't get much for sweets but I am going to have a cake the 19th. That makes my baby 45 years old. Thanks for everyones help. Tom- Top
