Re: Crossmember dent removal
i will second Bill's comment about how well it works -- but I found it requires spring removal on C3s to get it into the inside of the crossmember.Terry- Top

Re: Crossmember dent removal
Hi,
I believe the crossmember tool that Terry F. manufactures is offered by ZIP products. It's on page 4 in catologue #25, which I believe is the latest one. There is a picture.
I've talked to some people who have used Terry's tool with good results

Re: Crossmember dent removal
Mine is on permanent loan to Bair's, after I let them use it on my car they were more than willing to keep it on "permanent loan" As mentioned above, it does require access to the inside of the crossmember thry the end of the member, not much of a problem if doing a body off, or major front suspension work.Bill Clupper #618- Top

Re: Crossmember dent removal
I wished that I had one when I was restoring cars. We took a cut off tool, cut the damaged section out, dollied it back to proper shape, and welded it back in. Dressed it down and painted, you could not tell anything had ever been done to it.Dick Whittington- Top
