72- Outside mirror gasket

Has anyone had any luck with a outside mirror gasket that fits the contour of the base of the mirror, I purchased a GM a while back , its not as the origianal, and tryed corvette america it the same as GM .I am sure someone must make one that fits correctly. thanks Ed.

Going to be really hard to find one that fits tightly as the original.
I went through the same steps you are - finially I went over to a buddy's place and grabbed one (original) off a parts car - it fit nicely.

You can cut a gasket, but it will not have the ridge/outer edge.
