Can someone post a picture of an original for a 1962? 250hp/327. Interested in what is painted or what.

According to the JM, the starter is flat black, but you posted a picture of a generator.

How do I correct this thread heading to indicate "Generator" in lieu of starter? (a senior moment).

The Judging Manual has a pretty detailed describtion of the info you are looking for. If you don't already have one, I would strongly suggest you purchase one from the NCRS store. Too hard for me to type all that is in there.
