    1967 trim ecl code

Can someonew help identify trim code 455BE I know it's white/black interior convertible car but what does E stand for. Also, my 67 is BA and it's 300hp convertible but what does the A stand for.

    Thanks, Tim

Tim -- for 1967, 455BE is (understood as) base equipped; ie includes [nothing], excludes A31, A82, C07.

    The BA includes A31, excludes A82, C07.

Here's a neat site. As it states, not always an exact science, but there is good info here.

Thanks for the replys Wayne and Tom, I can't even find BE ecl code on that web site. The car is white/black interior (455) with no options except L-36.

Tom -- two sources I know of that show the ECL codes; Noland's Vol 2, 1967 Supplementary data; page 440, or, more recently, the Grenning/Sinor Authentication Library, Vol 1, C2 trim tags, if you happen to have 50 bucks to spare .
