    '69 tunnel insulation clips

Are the clips that hold the insulation in place plain steel or painted black?
    Thanks, Graeme.

Graeme, I just installed by blanklets on my 68 last night and Jack is giving great advise, watch your fingers. Especially if you have to reinstall any. Good Luck - Jeff

Jeff did you install the tunnel insulation or the insulation under the floor boards? If tunnel insulation was installed, was your 68's transmission in or out of the car?

This is what happened when I bumped into one on the lower firewall. They can take a pretty large chunk of meat out.

                      Hi,
I have a 'set' of those shark tracks in the top of my head!
                      Regards,
                      Alan

Got them a couple of minutes before this picture was taken. I was putting the insulation on before pulling the chassis in place, and backed into one. The person who cuts the little hair I have left still comments on the symmetrical scar that was left.

With blood coming from your head you still had the time to take pictures?

Can you post a picture of the clips in place on the tunnel?
My 78 does not have them and I would like to install the insulation
                          Thank you, Scott
