    I remember reading about this once before , along time ago. Does the same rule apply for a 66?

      I wrap my softtop latches with flannel rags when the top is down (almost always) to eliminate that rattle. I also preload the decklid with shims in the rain gutter to eliminate the decklid latch rattle. The foam pads would have killed both birds with one pad...

      Rattles are my least favorite feature of the old Corvettes.
