Commercial Airline Pilots are talking about Corvettes...

while aborting takeoff and running off the runway. This is crazy but what the hell, it's West Virginia!

So much for the "sterile cockpit"

Now there's a couple of guys that should know how critical it is to stay on topic...particularly during takeoffs and landings.

Once the Feds are done with them, their topic will be "Welcome to Wal-Mart"

Which may not be a bad thing since they could make more money there than flying for a commuter airline.

It seems this guy didn't even know what kind of Corvette he had, much less than flying a jet for U.S. Airways. PT

I know it sounds like splitting hairs, but, they are not US Airways pilots. They are pilots flying a commuter affiliate that is either wholly owned by USAirways Group or under contract to provide commuter services for US Airways.
            US Airways pilots only fly E-190, B-737, B-757, B-767, A319, A320, A321 or A330 aircraft.
The pilots that fly any other type aircraft are not US Airways pilots. They were, as Patrick stated, flying a jet contracted for US Airways Express. The commuter affiliates have much lower hiring standards, typically, than the mainline.
These guys fly for a commuter...Sully and Jeff were US Airways pilots.

This is why I prefer to fly with gray hair pilots. They are like doctors. I want a experienced one not a apprentice.
