74 seat track

All,

On my 74's seat tracks there are two mounts. One on the front of the track and one on the back. They look to be held in place by a single rivet.
I would like to remove these items to be cleaned up and powder coated. Is there a replacement rivet for this, is this a good thing to do? Also, does anyone have a process for cleaning up, and ensuring a smooth operating track?

In the paragon catalog (v.34) pg 160 of the C3 catalog in the upper right orner they have the parts I am looking to remove, clean-up and powder coat (part #s 4084K, and 3533K); however,they do not picture any mounting hardware.

The parts were originally a combination of phosphate and natural finish; the tracks were not all the same in appearance.

I have not yet ever seen a rivet that mimics the original used in this location. I have used Grade 8 bolts on a "driver" car to replace the rivets but not on a judged car.

Do you really feel that you need to disassemble the tracks ? See attached before and after cleaning and after paint pics.
