Re: Late '60s BB hydraulic valves adjust rocker nut down (full turn, 1/2 or 1/4 ?)
1. What do you make of having some of the push rods being after-market (I've seen some used originals for-sale recently with radial and even vertical cracks), was there a cracking issue with these?
Would these 4 after-market exhaust push rods contribute to ticking?
2. Since I have the intake off, what should I look for in these
hydraulic lifters?
I have a NOS set, see pic compared to the #2 lifter - is there a way to
clean these?
Note that I used some of those cleaners last year, including marvel
mystery oil and did not notice any change.
3. Is there a real risk to put the NOS lifters in there with the
existing cam?
