National Confirmation for Judging

Wondering if anyone had received their FORMAL letter from Roy notifying them their car had been accepted for judging at the National? I received my letter informing me my registration had been accepted and I was #43 and I should make hotel reservations! Well, if you have not made hotel reservations eons ago, I think you are pretty much out of luck! I was further informed that the letter from Roy would be coming soon?

This is simply a guess on my part but as I posted earlier, I received my confirmation from Roy concerning judging at a previous National on April 23rd. With that said I can only guess that there are several folks that need results from the Gettysburg Regional (PV's, sign offs, etc.)? So, maybe the second week in May?

probably a good bet on Gettysburg - not real patient as have "other plans" that coincide with National and trying to firm all up

When the BOD met in Concord March 20, Roy had just that week received the first batch of car entries from Cincinnati. He will have to check prerequisites, insurance, and all other info before notifying owners. Should be coming shortly.

I heard from Roy he is working hard on them as we speak, he has a little handicap since we moved to the new system to administer the car award information and he has to do the reporting slightly different then he is used to, to get the needed info out of the system to determine if all the pre-reqs are met to allow the member and his desired award to be accepted for the Nationals...

Three on wait list (one of these three accepted in second evaluation category), three bumped as multiple entries from same member keeping another member from a single entry. Over fifty of the one hundred ninety have major issues no title, no insurance, no prerequisites, etc. So the wait list cars may make it, even some of the bumped cars may get back in.

I affectionately call that ARCD "adult reading comprehension disorder." It is my belief that most adults suffer from it in some form or fashion.
