'65 SB spark plug wire.

Just replaced my old "non original" exhaust system for the original including the exhaust manifolds, now the spark plug wires are custom ones and also these are replaced by originals but just looking at the AIM I can't tell where/what clips go to, does anyone has some pics,

I assume you are talking about the metal clips near the sparkplug end of the braided shield. That clip attaches to the heat shields that surround the sparkplugs. The heat shields in turn attach to the heads via a small boss present only on the 1965 and 1966 original bigblock heads. The mounting boss for the shields is right next to the exhaust manifold at each plug.

If you have an assembly manual, look at sheet A10 of the U69 (radio) section. If you don't have an assembly manual, let me know and I'll post something useful.

Are you asking about a (SB) small block engine? All the answers are about (BB) big blocks.

Exactly what clip are you looking at? Is it a loose part or attached to the sparkplug wiring?

if we are talking about a smallblock, the two front wires run under the exhaust manifold, there are actually three retainers, the one on the top of the block on both sides bolted to the flange in front of the bellhousing, then one spring clip attached to each side of the iol pan using the oil pan bolt, then a two wire clip attached by a 1.4 inch bolt into a threaded hole near the top of the block on each side to retain the wires as they come up thru the engine mount. The engine section of the assembly manual UPC 6 sheet B3 shows the clips, but not the locations very well, if you have the "V" shields for the radio shielding, the bottom of the "V" is a pretty good locator for the clips on the pan rail, and the upper clips onlu have one predrilled and tapped 1.4 inch threaded hole to choose from to install the two-wire clips on the top. They go in the same hole as the sparkplug heat shields are attached to. Hope this helps.
